I have been dating this guy for about 4 months and just lately we have become serious and are seeing only each other. I am in my mid 30's and he is in his early 40's so we are beyond the mushy gushy stuff. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to get him that is reasonably priced without looking dorky? I am already making him a 'manly' type card but I need something to go with it. Stuffed animals are cute, but we are, in my opinion, getting too old for that stuff. Any suggestions?

Just get him anything you would get him for any other holiday. A nice shirt or tie, or just anything you think he would like. Or how about you 2 go for a massage before dinner on Valentines Day, you will be nice and relaxed and feeling great. I think thats perfect.

Men have this list of preferences when receiving a gift:
1- Something for himself (perfumes, clothing, a romance, a CD)
2- Something for his relatives (a recipe book for her mom etc.)
3- Something for his professional activities (a pen, a computer etc.)
So, mark choice number one.

If there is a concert in town that he likes, get him tickets to it. Also, if he likes to cook, can't go wrong with one of those Forman grills.
