ok... my new girlfriend has no courage. people (her "friends") keep telling her that i am just using her and that i dont care about her. they say that im going to hit her and all this horrible stuff. of course i would never do anything like that and she knows that. but when people say things like that, she gets really depressed and she wont let me say anything to them to make them stop. shes too afraid to do anything on her own. what can i do to help?

look i want you to do this. go up to her and look her straight in her eyes and cradel her face with your hands and tell her "i love you and i would never hurt you" then wait. if she breaks away you need to go to another room and wait. she will come to you in time. if she stays there kiss her very lightly then hug her for a really long time. do it right now! you could harm your relationship for good if you dont try!

You should do something really special for her, to sort of counter the things she keeps hearing from people. Find out things she really loves. For example, do something like find her favorite movie and flowers and candy or something like that and have a special day with all her favorite stuff. If that doesn't work then you should be totally honest with her and just confront the problem and tell her that it's not true at all and that you wouldnt be going out with her to hit her...girls love when guys are honest with them!
sometimes it embaresses us when guys try to talk to our friends for us. if the drama doesnt stop then maybe you should re-consider the gf, but that would be a last resort. hope it works out!

She don't know what to do because she feels torn, it has nothing to do with courage it has to do with choosing her "friends" and you. All you can do to prove that you love her is just let it go and prove harder that you're not the person her friends say you are.. If you really care about her you won't make her choose and just show her that you not like that and ignore her friends because if you don't it will just make things worst.

Think about what might have caused her friends' words. Maybe they have sth. against you. Try to clear it up with them. Unless you do that, however strong the feeling is, this relationship can't go on for a long time, because friends' opinions are very important for everyone. Just try to understand why they don't like you and clear this story up.
Hope that helps. Good luck!

Sit he down with no one else around and say this.

"I want you to know I have deep feelings for you. You are very important to me. I think there are people who want us to break up and I don't know why. All I ask is that you don't listen to them. You can ask me anything, anytime. I am not hiding anything from you. So, can you be strong for me? Do you have any questions?"

There isn't much for you to do, just hope that she has the sense enough to know who is lying to her and that if you're a good guy like you say you are her friends are probably just jealous of the two of you.
