You need some protein for breakfast. A scrambled or a hard boiled egg, some yogurt, cottage cheese, or ricotta cheese (low fat version of these cheeses). The protein will help keep you alert in your classes and will help you feel less hungry at lunch.

Lunch is good -- mix it up with turkey or ham, even roast beef once in a while. A little mayo is okay, just don't slather it on the bread. Fruit is always good.

Snack - my nutrionist suggests 15 almonds and a fruit or yogurt and fruit.

Dinner - no carbs (no bread, pasta, rice, etc), but lean meat of some kind and vegetables and more fruit.

She also told me to drink 16 oz. of water with each meal and limit your diet soda/ice tea to one a day.

In the last 4 weeks I've lost 10 lbs. and haven't even began to exercise yet.

Good eating habits are the key to a successful weight loss not just for a short time, but forever. Good luck to you!

You don't need to go into extremes, besides if you start jogging and keep to your present " diet " its not going to do you any good. You will not be able to eat like that all your life , so what is the point to starve yourself?
Eat normally, small amounts and obviously try to avoid junk food.
If you are that concerned about your weight join the gym , the instructor will get you on the right programme and should be able to advice you about the diet as well.
Its hard to start with , but after a few times you might begin to like it, especially when you see the results and understand that you are in a full control of your body . Good luck any way .

Given that you are about to increase your physical active, you need to eat foods that will support your health goals. You need nutrition-filled snacks such as cashew nuts, walnuts, raisins, granola bars, yogurt. Yes, they contain fat but it is all healthy fat and good, natural sugar as opposed to anything processed.

Also, definitely need to fuel your body with fruit and vegetables, and chicken/fish for protein. Your water intake is important so your body does not dehydrate (even in Winter).

Remember to start off the jogging slowly, building up to a sensible amount each week. Do not overdo it nor push your body too far too soon because this will only cause you to feel sore, perhaps bruise/strain your muscles and less motivated to continue. Take a break every second day in the beginning, very important to know.

Errr..where's the dinner? Lol you need way more cals than that. Add in more carbs, your growing so you could eat 2000 calories a day and still stay slim..change your breakfast every couple of days if you keep eating something for a while you start to get so sick of it you can't even look a it. You have got the exercise bit sorted out so well done...x

God bless..x
