I've been with my bf for 5 months, and I can't get enough of him. The thing is, I'm leaving in a few weeks for a competion...11 hours away...for a week. I know it doesn't sound far or long, but I'm gonna miss him. it's strange, I always have to have my arms around my boyfriend, I always have to be with him. He says that I'm not clingy but for some reason it feels like I am. I don't know how I'm gonna be able to survive that week without him being next to me. He said that it's gonna be ok, he said that hes gonna have it worse, bcuz hes the one thats gonna have to stand there and watch me go. So i need to know....am I clingy, and /or how can i get by that week without my bf.

You can handle it just fine. This can be a big test =) If you can enjoy your time while you're gone and get back and you're where you left off then you know that there is something there worth keeping.

If it's different (after a week *snicker*) then it's not worth worrying over.

Focus on the competition, of course. That's the important thing about your vacation. Both of you are too clingy. Learn to spend a day without each other, and you can survive a week.

It's perfectly normal to miss him. I missed my boyfriend when I went away. And you sound a little clingy. Try not to always see him. It is going to be hard to leave him and I totally understand how it is. Write him letters and talk to him on the phone and that may help. -Rayna

You are clingy..sorry. More importantly you seem to be insecure. Do your own thing. If he cares he will be there when you return.
