True environmentalism is nearly dead. There are some people who are still genuinely concerned about the environment, and are doing their best to preserve what we have.

Environmentalism today has been hi-jacked by politicians and profiteers, like Al Gore. People like Gore have taken a worthy cause and manipulated it via junk science and scare tactics for their own personal gain.

It should be. It's philosophically unsupportable as a modern movement and has no verifiable, rational, scientific basis for its existence. Environmentalism is more of a fundamentalist, religious "faith" movement than the result of any true, empirical scientific endeavor. Those involved are fanatics, and don't rely very heavily on empirically verifiable facts to support their position. They share a similar mindset to the "eco-terrorists" and are utterly unreliable when it comes to developing a balanced, rational understanding of natural global climate patterns and cycles.

They are the walking dead. Unfortunately, they have hijacked the US Fish and Game, the Army corps of engineers, BLM, many county governments(who are making a killing in huge fees for building permits, EIR's, mitigation fees, etc). The county govt's love the enviros. The enviros stated purpose is to rid the earth of people and at the minimum to assure them a life of hell on earth before they get rid of them. The enviros agenda is to force every one to start their own gardens, walk or ride a bike every where they go, to freeze in the winter, and roast in the summer, eat veggies like cows, and stop the 'evil' oil companies from making a profit. They are descendants of the 1800's Salem witch hunters, and ex pinko's from the 60's. Still funded and controlled by Hollywood money and certain media giants who despise western democracy and its bill of rights freedoms!!!!!! The Islamic terrorists love the enviros!!!!!! Add to all that, they animal worshipers doing the evil work of the devil!!!!!!!! Hmmmm, I am pretty sure I have forgotten something! Oh yes, they also worship at the altar of the 'vernal ponds'. these muck holes are natures cess pools which produce swarms of disease carrying mosquitoes and have gotten a law passed that they cannot be sprayed to kill the mosquitoes!!!! Also they yearn to tear out dams every where they can. That is like ripping out our own eyeballs. The farmers have a bumper sticker that sums it up nicely, "Hungry? Eat and Environmentalist" !!!!!!!!
