How do you get the apple core out of the corer without cutting the end of your fingers to shreds? I tried using a spoon to push it out and it shot out so fast that my thumb landed on the serrated bit at the end and I've got loads of holes in it.

in case you have a lipstick with a metallic cap you need to use it. i've got finished it numerous cases (till i bought a corer). You push the cap interior the apple as you're able to do with a corer,from one area after which you turn the apple the different way up and do the different area. It sounds humorous i be attentive to besides the undeniable fact that it somewhat works:-)

did you try pushing down from the top near the handle? are you talking about a corer or the corer/slicer combo? if it is the slicing kind just grab the core and rip it out.
