ok last summer my homeboys brother came and stayed with him for a few weeks and while he was here everytime we went swimming he would splash me and throw balls at me and i thought it was annoying!! my mom said it was cuz he liked me but idk i mean to 16 yr old boys still flirt like that?!?! i mean in kindergarted yea but @ the age of 16?!?! im asking cuz i kinda had a crush on him and he might be coming back this summer so i wanna know if i should try to get to know him or if he really is just annoying and not doing that cuz he likes me....

will if he starts doing it again then do it back to him an then talk to him about it, an yes sorry to say from when there 5 to 16 to 29 years of age an older they are the same way my husbend is the same way to so just try an deal with it i do everyday some times hes the biggest @$$ then the biggest baby an then the most play full person or he will splash me with cold wather when iam in the shower or he will put food all over my face when we are eating at a nice place they never change. sorry but i think all woman have to deal with it an remember just talk to him be cool about it its been a year from the last time he seen you so now it might get better or worse good luck

Yes, teenage boys can be surprisingly immature.
Heck, even adult men can be incredibly immature - I had a date with a 30-year-old teacher who, when he ran out of conversation, resorted to *mimicking* my every word and action, like a flippin 6 year old. So yes, boys can be immature and lame like that.
When he visits again, if you still have a crush on him, go ahead and flirt back a little. Nothing to lose...

In my experience, 9/10 times a decent mom is always right. The 1/10 times she just didn't have all the facts.
In this case, your mom is right. I know plenty of 16 year old guys who still flirt like that.

yes he likes you, i am that immature boy who throws stuff at girls. I grew up with a brother and never was really around girls that much so when i was around them i just treated them like a boy. which was to my downfall sometimes because im sure the girls at the time thought the same thing you are...lol...so i would pick that ball up next time you see him and throw it back...lol then make sure he knows you like him. situations like that happen all the time and so many people do not act on it..in your young age...but if i had it to do overagain i would want the girl to take some action and show me that she like me somehow...
