You would probably enjoy Michelob Ultra or Michelob Ultra Amber. You can serve them as cold as you like--my Dad's bar used to chill their beer until it had little tiny ice crystals in it.

When in Rome, do as the Romans do! I am not British, but when I am in the UK, I prefer drinking the local beers (ale). I try to stay away from international brands. Almost every town in the UK has one or two good local ales. I would suggest you try them.

Try some Canadian beer, Sleemans, Upper Canada Lager, Steam Whistle Pilsner.....so many!!!

Sam Adams is the best american beer in my opinion. there are many varieties as well. most are heavier than bud products though.
