We aren't addressing the biggest reason for the problem, overpopulation. No one wants to say we have too many people and need to stop reproducing. It's the cause of everything bad happening to the environment.

What do you mean by "looking after" the environment. The environment has always been changing whether humans were here or not.

Selfishness; because most people like to use and do things to benefit themselves regardless to whether it causes damage to someone or something else or not. And many people won't stop doing what they do even after learning how badly it effects nature. People usually don't change they're behaviors until after it starts to effect them directly in a very negative way.

One reason might be because humans do not care and another may be that they do not see the devestating effects that carelessness caused by us (humans) has on our environment!

the enviroment would do a lot beter without us.
It doesn't need our help.
Humans are greedy,selfish,evil creatures.
