Either that guy is CRAZY, or there's something definitely wrong with the car, and I'm gonna go with choice B. Definitely run a Carfax on it, or even better, have a mechanic check it out. It's not worth buying it to realize that the repairs will cost more than what you paid for the car in the first place.

rawr, I'm rascist. You shouldn't get a honda, because america fought a war against japan last century. They look different than us, Dontcha know? Srsly though. Accords are good sedans. If a sedan suits you more, go for it. If you get deep snow (kneedeep) where you live, the jeep will clearly be a better vehicle for winter. Those are too very different machines, so a side by side comparision is difficult. fuel economy, soft ride, and a peaky motor or torque and ground clearence, and a huge interior I can see reasons to pick either. But I'm personally a honda person

The cheapest I've seen for a '98 was $3900 at a dealership. It had 200k miles.

I'd be very wary of a $2500 car..... would definately invest $100 in hiring a mechanic to check it over.

Yes, as long as it has less than 140,000 miles.
