In any sales situation the salesman is persuading the buyer so unless the person selling you the vehicle is a close friend there really isnt much trust

Here's a tip on finding the best salesperson to deal with at a new car dealer: go in and find where they have the plaques of the salesperson of the month and similar awards; find the name that's on there the most and for the longest time period-going back in time, and then ask the receptionist if that person is there that day. A real salesperson depends more on repeat business, and if you're lucky enough to find one that's been there a long time, that's the person you want as your salesperson.

A long term salesperson at a new car dealer is hard to find these days, and when you can find one...and if you like the brand of cars, then try to stick with him/her. You'll find your deals will be good, less BS, less wasted time and you'll be happier in the long run.

I was a car salesman and know I could be trusted and m customers liked me. That's why I didn't last. Seems good guys come last in car sales, thanks to other salespeople and the way customers treat you.

I trust him completely! We have a long term business relationship, and he knows that I if he tries to take a shot, he will be caught!!

It helps that I buy several cars a week from him!!!

anyone who works on commission in sales can only be trusted to a point. after all a sale means money in their pocket. do your homework, know what you want to spend and DONT buy the first car you see!

Hell no, that is the first thing you have to realize before even stepping a foot into a dealership. Don't ever, ever trust the salesmen.

He was an alright guy. He didn't have anything to do with setting price. The finance guy is the one not to trust. I actually caught him in a lie.

Yes. I went to Selma Honda in California and he told me not to take any of the first offers that his manager came back to me with because they can always go lower. It was his first week, I'm sure he has learned his lesson from telling people that, if he is still working there..................
