paint your wall entirely blue, then come in with white, grey and blue (the same blue as your wall) using a sponge dabbing the shape that you want. Just keed dabbing into the different colors until you get the cloud look that you want.

You wouldn't want to draw the cloud and paint it in, unless you are trying to achieve a "cartoon" looking cloud.

Paint your wall blue then using a crumpled rag dip lightly into white paint then dab on the wall. Twisting your wrist to give a softly blurred look. You don't want the white to be to heavy. If you get the look to white then dab into the blue you used on the wall and repeat the same way. You may also want to shade the cloud with a small amount of light blue/ gray. If you want a bright sunny look you may want to hightlight with a small amount of light yellow. Don't be scared as you can always work back and forth with the blue and white until you get the look you want. Just remember less is better when it comes to nice airy clouds.

Get a couple of shades of blue (craft paint not room paint) and then get a feather duster pour a dab of one color of blue and also a dab of white and another dab of a darker blue and then LIGHTLY touch just the tips of the feathers into each color then get some old newspapers and sweep the duster LIGHTLY across the newspaper to remove excess paint and then lightly slap the wall with the duster- then take a smaller type paint brush and working in a circular pattern go around the spots of paint left by the duster and form a cloud!

Look at real clouds and photos of clouds. Use white paint and a brush to lightly "sketch" on the clouds. Live with it for a day. If you don't like what you have, let it dry and paint over it with the blue. If you like it, fill them in gradually until you have the look you want.

check with a local craft store, they usually have tons of stencils which you can use if you are aiming at something perfected rather than original.
