I think you would have a hard time finding a woman under the age of twenty five that has any common ground with you....

This is an odd question...

Okay, how old is she?

Age can be nothing more than a state of mind (my wife is 12-1/2 years younger, and I'm 46), but at your age that kind of age difference has more to do with maturity levels.

Check these things off to see if you should date her:

Do you have common interests (aside from sex)?
Can you hold long conversations?
Do you have similar goals?

I did go out, briefly, with a 19 year old when I was 28. It lasted about three weeks. She was cute and I was physically attracted, but it took my "hard as a rock" head that long to realize (almost needed a 2x4) that we had nothing in common, and I only looked forward to the end of our dates. She was a neighbor, which made it difficult for both of us (I'd run into her, she'd run into me). She moved a few months later, and I no longer felt guilty dating someone else.

Today, I'm deliriously happy with my wife. I can answer yes to the three questions posed without even thinking twice. She was well worth the wait :)

well, strictly speaking i suppose it depends on the one that's doing the accepting.

if you were asking for an ideal age i'd give you a different answer but since you asked about acceptability, i'd say any age so long as it's legal (therefore 18/19 upwards) because we're all that different i'm sure that there's at least one 18 year old and at least one 60 year old that you would find riveting to be in the company of.

the question is would they enjoy YOUR company too? that's why i'll have to stick with my answer: it depends on whoever it is that's doing the accepting.

You can date anyone of legal age. You may not have a good connection with her if she is too young though. One or two years is the best. If your thinking of finding THE ONE. Then don't go too young. Ladies in their late teens and early 20' are still trying to find themselves. I'm sure you can have fun with any age lady. You may just not find the right fit if the difference is too great.

What a load of total crap - all these answers.. 24..25 etc.

What is acceptable to you? That's all that matters. Why are you so worried about everyone else?

If you find a woman who makes you happy and what to be with what does it matter how old she is?

These days especially, age difference is less and less of an issue. +/- 15 years is becoming more normal.

Quit worrying about it.

I would think 24 or somewhere neat that. You dont need an 18 year old. But 24 and up, should be a good match.

It really isn't the actual age that matters. I was 22 when I started dating my bf. He was 37. We're still going strong and actually plan on getting married.

I've dated men older than u,and I'm 22.Age does not count,as long as both partners have the same level of maturity or at least something in common.
