Whats a good os besides xp?

Hello I have windows xp on my laptop but want another OS whats a cool free one thats good? and a link please!

Any MAC software but if you are stuck with a PC you may want to experiment with Obantu

If u are an advanced user u may try a flavor of linux.if u think linux is complicated then try ubuntu.ubuntu is user friendly version of linux but might not be appealing to advanced linux users.
