Should I be nervous about High School??

I'm going to be in High School next year and im terrified!i dont know if kids will like me, boys will like me, and im scared about the upperclassman!!HELP!!

sweetie you have nothing to be worried about. I'm a senior now but I was more nervous in middle school than anything else, but after two months I knew the campus so going into high school was nothing. Sure, there are some upperclassmen who are rude and stupid, but the majority won't bother you unless you give them a reason to. For the most part it's just stupid ignorant people who put others down to make themselves feel better, so don't take anything personally cuz 99% of the time you won't have anything to do with it. As far as boys, try not to even worry about them because very few boys actually grow up enough to be mature enough to have a girlfriend. If you find one who is, you're lucky. Just worry about your grades and have fun with your friends! Don't fear high school, just make it the best you can.

Take it from someone whose been through the high school scene. Im in college now and ive been their done that written the book. first thing dont be gullible and naive. Just know that everyone is not your friend. Kids are messy in high school dont go telling your business to everyone. These upperclass boys will use and abuse you if you let them. Your young fresh meat. The way to keep a good relationship is to keep the legs closed. Last thing you want is bad talk about you around school. Dont fall into the hype of talking about people behind their back because high school is messy but you want to be likable to everyone not just 1 group of people. Dont walk around with your nose up in the air(stuck up) but then again you dont want to be to nice and come off like your trying to hard. High school is critical when it comes to your getting into a good college so just quit worrying so much about little stuff youll be fine.

Aww baby don't be afraid of high school. It's not all that big and bad as everybody makes it sound like. I'm 15 and a softmore in highschool so i've been here for almost 2 years now. The upperclassment won't do anything to you honey, and people will always be nice to you if your nice too. Of course there will be guys who will like you but remember that friends are the most important because usually they will always be there for you and guys come and go. Have confidence in yourself and everyone else will see it if you do! I hope i helped!

yes you should be
high school will be the worst years ever, i hated it.
people where judgemental like crazy.
if you dont have the cloths, hair, anything, your concidered a dirt.
me i was an alternitive girl, i wore jeans and a t-shirt, and i had my friends..
i was always in fight and for a tiny lady like me i kicked butt.
i was a tough cookie and no one really bothered me, i have seen people get treated badly and i always defended the under dog.
i got along with evertbody, but that was after high school and people grew up lol
i was scared at first but i showed those snots that there are people who dont put up will bulls**t, and i got exspelled becoz i stood up from my desk, grabed a girl by her hair, dragged her across the classroom, and smashed her head on a desk lol.
and during lunch i was always in fights, even with the guys.
after grade 9, they all left me alone, the snots where nice to me.
i guess im just a cold hard b***h lol

You will have your group of friends, and the upperclassmen are no big deal, they will ignore you for the most part. Sometimes a few of them are even friendly, if you are just cool and relaxed around them.
Do not be "terrified" of anything in life, young lady, least of all high school.
Build up your self esteem before then. Do not put yourself down, even in your own mind privately. Tell yourself you are beautiful, good personality, fun to be with, likeable, etc. It really is as simple as that. :)

High school is funny. One year you are a lower class man and next year you're the same you with the same friends in your grade level you're just a year older. You won't think anything less of the lower class men below you because you were there just last year ... and so on.

Have no fear, you'll only spend four years here. =)

Don't be concerned with the very few people who -do- put them selves on a higher level then you because those are the ones that are the real lower class.

Don't worry about it. I am a freshman in highschool and I was a little nervous at first too. After the first week you will be fine. Don't worry about the upper classmen just don't give them a reason to be mean to you. Just lay low around them and they wonn't bother you. I am sure you will make plenty of friends.
