I say all of us R&S junkies get together for a weekend in Vegas and talk (nicely) about our issues face-to-face whilst playing the slots and losing at poker. We could even go see Penn & Teller at the Rio. That would be pretty awesome.

I think we would all pretty much get along. And whatever happened in Vegas would obviously stay there.

Nice try but I doubt the good christians would step foot in sin city - but I'm game! Saw Penn & Teller in 2004. Was awesome.

I like the idea, it's got promise, but there's one problem I see. Have you seen some of the posts that get left for some questions? Unfortunately you'd find there'd be at least a few people who went there spoiling for some trouble, and I would bet there'd be a riot or brawl before the end of it.
If only we could maybe we'd all get on better...

Sounds like a plan to me, I would even be willing to let theists pray over my dice. For the Theists that don't gamble, I would be more than willing to place a few bets for you.

We could stay at the Luxor as it is based on the Egyptian theist belief and would be a happy compromise for everyone involved.

Vegas... that might prove a little unsavory to some of the religious folk... but I'm game for a little Flordia action!... especially seeing that the wind chill in Wisconsin is -35 today... that sucks!

LOL!! Some ****** thumbs downed me!

I used to have a lot of faith in my philosophical prospective in to the human ingenuity based upon the notion that if I was energy perceiving life from a point of view I was eternal, and never needed a God.
When I was one day trying to prove how evil and wrong Christianity was, I proved it to be the truth, with much better answers to reality then I ever even dreamed of. Now my faith is not in little ol me,or man kind, but rather in God,through Jesus Christ. So I know where you are coming from, been there done that. Good luck my friend .
May you too one day come to know the Love of Jesus.
:)

OK, I am a Christian and will go and gamble and have a drink or two, but then you must come to a rousing Praise and Worship service with me. You won't have to tell your atheists friends, it will stay in Vegas.

LOL
Good idea but I can see it now. Fundies in one corner, Christians in the gallery looking down, Theists in another corner, Atheists over there and the Agnostics running around not knowing where to sit.

Vegas a bit far for me. Wouldn't mind going there for the casinos though.

Yuk... I hate Vegas. Tell ya what... you all go and meet up... lemme know who the cool one's are, then I'll go on a road trip to meet them. Though I'd probably stop by Jim's house first lol
