its a delusion that most religious people suffer from. there is NOTHING at the end of the rainbow. there is nothing at the ends of our lives. they are just not willing to admit that once we are dead there is NOTHING for us nothing at all!

This is the reason that non denominational are growing at a quick rate. I agree that most "RELIGIONS" do not agree with what the Bible says. Dont let that interfere with spitituality. Most of your non denominatioal churches will preach about the Trinity. They also have scripture to back up what they preach. That is most important. The Bible clearly states The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spitit are as one. I dont think that you should worry about what others disagree on. It is what is in your heart that counts. As long as you do Gods will the best you can. Lots of people take one scripture from one place in the Bible and put it with another to make it mean what they want it to. In my opinion this is wrong. See I also disagree with some things. Honor God, love God , and keep his commandments you will be alright. God Bless you and hang in there.

You are confusing "religion" with being a Child of God. There is more division among Christians than there is between Christians and unbelievers. When an enemy wants to destroy someone, they infiltrate the camp of the other party, to cause betrayal and division. It's no different with Satan.
While many "religious" people are arguing about Bible Translations and human interpretations, their hearts and minds are slowly being poisoned. Not everyone who claims to be a Child of God is a Child of God. Many don't even realize they are being demonically influenced. You can often tell those who have not been reborn, by how fanatically they argue religion in a self-righteous manner.
One of the greatest lessons Jesus was taught was one of Love. Gravitate towards Christians who display the fruits of the spirit, who walk according to the teachings of Christ, and steer away from those saturated with religion and dogma.
Focus on the Word of God, and your relationship with the Lord, not on what other humans are doing...even if they claim to be Christians. Lastly, EXPECT to find unbelievers disguised as Christians within the Church or places of worship. Blessings, Miji

How right you are. Look what John 4:23-24 tells us regarding the kind of worship that is acceptable to God--
"But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth."
How can every religious denomination which teach and believe so many different ways, be worshipping God in truth? The only way to know which faith is the one acceptable and approved by God, is to study and examine our faith to make sure that everything taught is the truth.
Sadly, many sincerely believe that what they have been taught is the truth. The apostle Paul knew this would be the case when he wrote these words at Romans 10:2-3--"For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God."

I think there's a very small number of crucial core beliefs that
get every Christian through to the place he or she needs to be.
It's like Paul's statement to:
"Preach nothing but Christ and Him crucified"
The core message of salvation through Christ is the beacon
that leads us all past the rocks to the safe harbor.
I think the different groups with their several different views
may just be symptomatic of human weakness.
Like the churchmembers who Paul counseled not to argue
which were the best spiritual gifts.
You CAN fault humans for displaying human weaknesses,
but it does kind of come with the territory.
About the Bible...it does sort of say ALL different things.
Like the accounts of several different witnesses will be different.
But, certain core truths are NOT in conflict by all accounts.

Well, you've got a good point, except that there are basics within mainstream Protestant belief that aren't in dispute. After that, the confusion sets in with each denomination having their own brand of truth to sell. For the new Christian, it can be difficult to wade through truth and fiction in the finer points. But as the person matures, I would think he or she could still have an open mind and be able to figure out what's right for them.

You are absolutely right. Jesus said
"Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." Matt 7:13-14
So, how do you know where to find truth? James has the answer.
"If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed." James 1:5-6
Ask with a sincere heart to be lead to the truth and you shall find. How many times is it said; "Ask and ye shall receive, knock and it shall be opened unto you."
There are many churches that profess Christ in name only but deny the power thereof. Look for that Church that truly professes Christ and demonstrates the power of Christ. Listen for the Holy Spirit to touch your heart and listen to His guidance. Therein you shall find true power in Christ.

I am a Christian you describe a sad truth.
So many times when people base their beliefs on a denominational standard or by man's traditions we create disunity in the body.
Did you know you are right along the lines of a prayer by Jesus? Jesus prayed that all believers may be one in order that the world may know that Jesus was from God.
John 17:20-21
“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me."

You don't listen to denominational nonsense, you read the Scriptures and believe it for what it says. Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Baptism does not bring salvation nor does having a supposed spiritual gift reveal that a person is saved. God calls out His people, the elect, for salvation. I, nor any other believer, can bring salvation to anyone, it is a total work of God.

Good question....one that Christians have been dealing with since Peter and Paul argued about whether you need to be circumcized and/or keep purity laws to be Christian!
I think it's important to emphasize that the Church is larger than any cultural expression of religion or theological stance. And God is even bigger than the Church.
I also think it's important to realize that the example of the disciples shows that they were very different people with very different gifts and abilities, like Christians of all sorts of stripes today.
Churches look different; their expressions of faith are different. That's cool. The problems arise when any church assumes that its way is the ONLY way

Christians don't lead people to Christ. Christ leads people to Christ. Sometimes he just uses people.
