last friday i went on a date with this guy i like from school. it went very well (although the kiss(es) needed some work) so today i wasn't sure how he'd react. we talked a little this morning but by mid-afternoon, it had just become awkward. i want to date him on a regular basis (not as in bf/gf) but not exactly in an open relationship. how can i tell him my true feelings? should i ask him on another date? i've been told since i initated it, the ball is in his court. but then again, he could be afraid of me as i am of him.

valentine's day perhaps? or before?

Don't ask him on a date. Just wait until Valentine's Day. If he gets you something; he likes you. Then you can be like want to go to the movies. If he doesn't get you anything. Tell him to go too hell. Just playing!

i think you need to ask this guy out again. i think he's acting awkward around you because he likes you the same way you like him. its been statistically shown that guys are just as afraid to call a girl for a second date, so in order for you to get what you want you need to ask him out. you should tell him ur true feelings so then you both know what you want out of this relationship. if you like this guy a lot then you should go out with him on valentine's day

You should go for it. If you were the one to ask him out to begin with, maybe he needs a little coaxing still. Don't think about the dating "rules" (ball in his court, etc) and just do it. You'll know soon enough if it was worth it.

If he's interested, he will ask. Unless you want a spineless guy who can't make decisions for himself - don't ask him; he will ask you when he feels ready, and if he doesn't, then he was not so interested to begin with. Good luck.

Ditto Seti. If he likes you enough, he'll ask you out, and his shyness or whatever won't get in the way.
