OK I'm 16 now and my parents never told me when I could get GF etc and I'm still nervous because I don't know what to do and I don't realli want to ask them about it.

If you're nervous about asking them straight out, why don't you ask them about the early days of their 'courtship'? Valentine's day is coming up ... that's the perfect opportunity to have 'innocent' romantic questions to ask. Sharing this kind of chat with them could well lead into the topic that you want, as well as giving you the chance to suss out how open they are to questions of romance. It may also act as a bonding session which will make it easier to bring up the question in the future if it doesn't come out in the chat.

I think 16 is perfectly normal to have a GF. They will be happy for you!
