My ex and I split up-he ended it abruptly, claiming he wasn't over his ex-fiance which ended last year. Before this, he was over here 24/7, called every day the works. 2 days later he drops me.
Out of the blue his roommate emails me with a lame attempt to talk to me ie. 'you look familiar and i was trying to place you.' The roomie and I never met b/c of circumstance (he's out of town, etc.) Why is the roommate, a day later within splitting up, all of a sudden being freindly?
Is it to mediate, help out, spy on me for my ex, attempt to have me rebound...what?

He is probably spying on you for your ex, or he's interested in you.

A friend once told me that if your boyfriend's friend wants to go out with you than he is trying to play you. According to my friend a group of boys are trying to use you, this has stuck to my mind. Beware of people that unexpectedly approach you or come to you!

Yeah be flattered right now, looks like you still love this player who dumped you! You wish that he was spying on you maybe.

If I were you, I would leave this circle of friends immediately, maybe they even marked you as a ho without knowing it.

Dont fool with that situation. He is either going to tell you something about your ex( you dont want to hear) or Hit on you (which is not cool.) Either way I dont feel that nothing good can come from him contactin you. Hell he may be trying to set you p per your ex's request.
