Could you also answer why Apple does not do aswell as Windows

Ummm....you are asking a bit of a loaded question aren't you? lol
Basically you have Windows, Open Source (Linux, FreeBSD, etc), and Apple. Honestly I don't think there is an all around better OS. It's just a matter of personal preference. As far as Apple, I think it boils down to not having as much software available for it and this "only artists use it" thinking. In the early years Apple got a reputation as the artist's computer and the PC the reputation of business only. I think that sort of thinking is no longer valid given today's selection of software.

Basic DOS. Lack of understanding of OSx makes it difficult 4 some users.
