Phishing is a term used to describe people who send official looking emails asking users to provide bank details, passwords, addresses, etc. They then steal your identity. It is easy to escape phishing without having to buy software. If you ever get an email say from ebay or your bank asking to confirm your account details, password, and other personal information then you know it is a scam because no company will ask their customers to confirm their personal details once you have already registered. Also you will be able to tell because if you look in the address bar, rather than the address being from the alledged company, it will be of a different, unrelated address. Only fools fall for phishing!

The phising programs are used by hackers to get your identity and/or money. We all need the antidote for that and also for worms which is another type of destructive virus. So get anti-phishing program but I recommend buying it so you have tech support because they are wicked to install and run - also called root killers. Do a search. I tried a free root killere and was afraid to install it.

spyware alot of worms out there and virus each one does different things to a computer from making it slow to getting some of your personal information like passwords etc, You should run spyware scan and virus scan and clean up your temp files once a weel
