At 4 months it is safe to introduce cereal. I would try feeding them cereal twice a day and see if that seems to keep them satisfied longer.

Nothing abnormal about that. My son was eating a 5 oz bottle every 2 hours when he was that age. If they don't seem like they're full after their feeding, burp them for a good 10 minutes, and try for another ounce or two each. The more they get in each feeding (without over-filling them and causing pain in their little stomachs), the longer they generally go before they need another. Good luck with the twins, I have to applaud you on this one, I've only got one and he drives me up the wall sometimes. I don't know how you do it, but you've made it 4 months, so you're obviously doing great :) Keep up the good work!

I have twins that are 3 but when they were about 4-5 months old they seemed like they were always eating. Doctors don't recommend this but I started putting rice cereal in their bottles. only use single grain cereals because their digestive systems are still sensitive and single grain cereals are easier for them to digest. Just add a little cereal to keep the milk thin enough to flow through the nipple.

Four months..some people might disagree, but they sound hungry to me. Start introducing a really watered down rice cereal. REALLY WATERED DOWN, almost just water or milk with a little cereal in it. See if this helps make them feel full. Don't mix the cereal thick like we might eat it, they will have trouble swallowing etc. AND do not put cereal in the bottle. U will hear older generation ppl saying how they'd put cereal in the bottle with the milk.

Start giving them more in the bottle at first to see if it helps. Bump them up to 7 ounces or so. I honestly would try to hold off to the 5 months mark before doing cereal.

I would definitely discuss it with their pediatrician. However, most babies around that age need more than just a bottle. I started giving my little ones baby cereal at 4 months old. Then, within a few months of that, they were enjoying all sorts of baby foods. But like I said, find out from their doctor 1st, what they suggest.

They can start eating cereal and first stage baby food when they are about 3 months old. It will help them to be fuller for longer! Congrats on the twins; I have 2 sets!!

4 months is a good age to introduce cereal like rice or oatmeal. give it to them twice a day. of course, talk to their doctor, but it sounds like they are ready!
