I am in HIGHSCHOOL and one of the school orchestras that i am in is taking a class trip to BOSTON, ( i live in NEW JERSEY so it's only a few hours away). We will be staying in Boston for just 4 DAYS however my parents feel the need to come to Boston to see the concert, which is okay, but they also want to STAY AT THE SAME HOTEL AS MY CLASS!!! that is not cool and soooo embarassing. How can i convince them that nothing bad is going to happen to me and tell them to NOT TO RUIN MY LIFE?

Your parents aren't making you stay in the same room as they are, so what's the big deal? They will not ruin your life by staying at the same hotel. You should be glad that your mom and dad are supportive of you.

Appreciate your parents concern for you. You have no idea how many kids dont have that all. Im sure when you become a parent you'll understand. I did!! But talk to them and let them know how you feel. One thing is for sure never tell them that they are ruining your life it will only make matters worse. Just TELL THEM HOW U FEEL!!

They not want to let go of there little girl. Sit down with them a tell them how you feel about them going on your class trip. Ask them why they think they have to go on the trip too.

Call LendingTree.com get a mortgage and move out, or shup up and live with it. If you didnt have plans on sleeping around you would not be worried about them being there. Ms. Hot Momma!

You had to tell them that you have your own life also. They most understand that you don't feel free when having them around.

Print out your question, and show it to them
