are there any experianced body builders out there ?

I am wondering how long your weight lifting sessions are. I have been body building for 3 months and I am very pleased with my results.
I only work out for 30 - 40 min a day.

any insight in to this please, do you think I should try more or am I doing fine the way I am.

I did it 2 years time and I was really good at lifting heavy and I used to workout 7 times a week and 3-4 hours a day . And I think now this was not a good way . You should workout 4 times a week and 1 hour a day but do not waste your time at gym looking around do your lifting curls squats and then go to your home rest have a shower eat healthy food. Do not use protein shakes I have stomach problems because of them . Do not get into steroid stuff stay away from them . I never used them and if you do not continue not using them you will see you can not get huge but do not think getting huge is too important there are many important things in life more than being muscular . Do not worry if you train properly you can get a fit body but you can not get 50 cm arms without steroids but I do not think that s too important .

Spending time in the gym is very important but so is taking time off. I have read in several bodybuilding books to take 1 week off every 2 months to let your muscles recoup. If you don't then your muscles will get tired faster and you have a high risk of injury. That's all the advise I can give as I have limited experience.
