I have been going out with my boyfriend for 4 years. But me and my best friend have started to have feelings for eachother the last few months, he also has a girlfriend. I feel really bad because i love my boyfriend but i cant stop thinking about my best friend. What can i do? Do u think i really love my boyfriend if i feel this way about another guy? Im confused! I think you can love both of them. When you have a friendship for a long time you become close to that person. Also, after you date someone for a long time, you look for something exciting, maybe your friends seems more interested in you, maybe you have chemistry. Don't rush anything or do anything to hurt your partners. Maybe you just need a break from the boyfriend and the friend and see how you feel, like a weekend trip to think. Only you can make that decision, and the consequence could be losing a boyfriend and a friend. Good luck

It is normal to mistake feelings for a friend of the opposite sex as love, especially if we find ourselves unhappy or not understood by our current partner.. Try to spend less time alone with your friend and more with your boyfriend and other friends. What you are feeling might just be in the heat of the moment. If indeed you find you are not getting what you need from your boyfriend then the decision to break up with him should be for this reason only, not because of feeling for your friend. I think you just have an infatuation with ur bff. Its a scary feeling, trust me, one time I thought I had feelings for my boyfriend's friend. It was just a meaningless crush, because in all reality, my bf friend could never match up to the way my bf feels for me, and vise versa

Look, u probably like-like ur best friend, but u dont wanna hurt ur boyfriends feelings cuz u still wanna be friends with him. Its probably really hard, but u should just be friends with ur boyfriend, and go out with ur friend & see how it goes.

maybe u do love your boyfreind but u could also just like him who knows think who u want and try to forget about a relationship with your bestfreind if you cant do that than u cant love your boyfreind
