You should go to the Zoology section... every few hours it's the old "If man came from monkeys, then why are there still monkeys?"

After seeing that question about 10 times a day I have to get the hell out of there before I start smashing things.... lol

It almost goes in cycles, some days are worse than others... hmm I wonder if you could predict the full moon by the frequency of those idiotic questions.

Actually I'm a Christian, and I have to say no, I don't agree. The burden of proof is on people who DO believe. Many of us don't put enough faith in God to believe he can do miracles, so we don't step out and deal with that challenge from those who really are open to believing! The fact is, he's done so many miraculous things for me, I don't question his existence, and will confidently say he will reward any diligent seeker.

The problem is that many say "prove to me," but don't really what to hear any answers. They use that as a cop-out. It's like a judge saying "prove to me that a suspect is guilty" but then refusing to hear testimony (calling it all lies) and throwing out all the evidence (saying that the evidence can't really exist), and then walking out of the room when the jury delivers a verdict.

Kind of hard for us to get to any real truth when we act like either example, huh?

Haha, never noticed the timing of it. Its so common its in the running for the "Pascal's Wager" award (nothing comes around as ofthen as the "what if you're wrong, is it worth the risk?" BS)

later.

It does pop up a lot in the afternoons lol You'd think they'd try to avoid asking that one too much.

So does the "Christians, prove God exists" one.

Don't forget the ever-popular "How can Christians believe a book so full of lies?" and the "Evolution is a fact, why don't theists accept it?" and the "If God is so kind, why did he invent hell?"

Instead of debating deep, comprehensive elements of religion, we can't get past the age-old bait questions.

Yep.
And no matter how many times it pops up I have to shake my head and be thankful that I am not that stupid.
Imagine being so brainless to think that that's actually an argument...
It boggles the mind...
