for gods sake, this is CHILDREN we're talking about! whats this rubbish 'before they want to know the difference'? !! why should they hide their bodies from their own family? what on earth is there to hide? of course they are different gender but that's all!! don't make them ashamed of their own body before they've had the chance to grow up! take no notice of all that rubbish and bathe your kids together for as long as they want, its not like they're gonna be sharing a bath when they're 14 is it? does this all mean that you should hide your baby away when you change her nappy too? ! I'm amazed there are so many narrow minded people answered your question in such a negative way. do they not see that children are curious of what is HIDDEN from them, and why? please stick with your first instinct on this one, sue

If any child is over the age of 4, stop. That is usually when they will start asking what is the difference between a boy and a girl. So they have come to an understanding and comprehension.

It is a good time to stop now before the three year old starts noticing the difference. It will give the kids a chance to have a little bit of one to one time with you.

I think anytime they start asking why he has a thingy and they don't would be a good time to stop.
I bathed with my male cousin until we were 3 or 4.

Well I never did that and I have 4 kids 2boys 2 girls and never once did them both take a bath together. Just not right in my book. So I would stop now.

In my house, we all take our own baths. Both kids are boys. To quote the movie Arthur, "Bathing is a lonely business."

I think now would be a good time. I know that separate baths take more time but you have to start.
