i would go to a salon if i were you, even though its expensive. i tried darkening my bleached hair to light brown when i was in hs, and it came out blackish-bluish! bleached hair soaks up color differently than dark hair. a colorist will know exactly how much color to use and plus their products are much better. i always go to a salon now when i dye my hair, its worth it!!!

Hi! I went from a platium blonde to brunette and back again. I always color my hair myself... Unless I am doing a dramastic change. You should most definately go to a professional, or a beauty college, I go to the beauty college when possible, It is a lot cheaper and if they mess your hair up, the instructors fix it. They will need to put a pre-pig on your hair because there is not pigment left in your hair cuticles... the bleach stripped it out. They also put protine back into your hair. I would strongly suggest you go to the pros! Hope I helped!

Hi go to a shop and get a hair day that is closest to your own haircolour, you may want a dye that is slightly darker because if you have blonde haor the colour will go on lighter. I would recommend if you dye it back to brown that you dont regret no staying blonde, as i was always doing this with my hair colour from blonde to brown then brown to blonde and now my hair wont go back to blonde as the brown has ruined it. If arent sure weather you would want to go brown and maybe go blonde again, Ue a semi permenant these work just as well and they wash out and dont staying your hair as much.

Going to a salon would be the best way to go. But if you decide to do it yourself, stay away from permanent dyes as they look flat and dull over bleached hair, and will fade quickly. Go for semi-permanent dyes.

To avoid the dreaded green/blue effect, make sure you use a warm brown dye; if it looks more red than you want your hair to be, that's the one to use. If you want to return to a very dark brown, use a red dye (called using a 'filler) before you use the brown dye.

Hi there...whatever you do completely avoid anything with ASH tones in it! You will need a nice chestnutty colour...or anything with a tint of red...it doesn't have to be cherry red but just having a slight red tint to it will help prevent it going green. I have coloured my friends hair today at work...She had bleach in it so i used a colour with a slight red tint and added a spot of the base shade to add more brown. I would advise that you go to a salon to have it done if not definatly stick to something with red. I hope this helps and you manage to sort it out! xxx

You have to dye it red first (as bright as possible) to stop it from going green. Then use the brown dye. Good luck - would recommend a hairdresser if you can afford?

buy a dye closest to your natural colour but make sure it has a tint of red in it that way it won,t fade as quick or go a shade of green
