you can start off with talking about the superbowl, then go into what your doing in school or how your job is going...the main thing is to just feel comfortable and act like your talking to a long time friend...relax!!

Tell him how you feel!!! Be upfront with him. Don't try to trick him into dating you or anything. Try:
"He___, I was just sitting here looking at old pics (an old movie, something you too did together and he's sure to remember) and I just decided to give you a call and see how you were doing."
(wait for a response).
Ask him if he wants to get out of the house and chill with you or catch a movie. (not a romance or chick flick, maybe comedy or something he would like).
Or you could write him a letter expressing how you feel, buy not a stalkerish (oh i want you so bad) type letter.
