It's probably cradle cap, and it's pretty common. Put some baby oil or baby lotion on it, and don't worry, it happens.

That's because HE'S NOT READY for cereal! My newest son was born 9 pounds and 13 ounces. He didn't have a lick of solid food, including rice cereal, until he was 8 months old, and he's 20 pounds! Breastmilk IS enough, it's enough for 12 months. You can start solids at 6 months, when baby actually has the enzymes to be able to digest cereal, but it's not necessary. Two month old babies nurse every 2-3 hours, that's what they do, it's the way they were designed by mother nature. Every major medical organization on the face of the planet now recommends 4 months as the bare minimum and 6 months as the best. There is NO NEED to give a 2 month old baby cereal, unless, of course, you want a baby that has a problem with obesity, allergies, diabetes, Crohn's Disease, and a host of other health problems that surface later in life. If that's the case, go ahead, force feed that baby some processed rice-cereal-flake food from a cardboard box. It sounds like your son is the smart one here.

Is it dandruff or cradle cap? You can us a very small amount, like a pill size drop, of dandruff shampoo. I wouldn't get a strong one that tingles. Wash the hair and before you rinse use a soft baby brush and massage the area then rinse. I would do the bath every other day.

The cure for dandruff is vinegar. Pour it into the hair, then massage it into the scalp, and leave it there to dry for a few minutes. Then wash the baby's hair, the process should be repeated daily until the dandruff disappears, usually within a few days.

What you baby has is called, cradle cap, and it's very easy to remove it. All you have to do it apply a little baby oil to her scalp and let it set for a little while. After the dry skin has softened take a very very soft bristle baby brush and gently remove the dry skin. After you are finished wash her scalp in mild baby shampoo.

Its probably cradle cap, and to treat it, warm up some baby oil to lukewarm, massage it into her scalp then gently lift off with a comb. When washing the oil out, do not wet the hair first, apply the shampoo then wet it.

It is called cradle cap and you need to look in the baby section for a shampoo that an infant can use, then take a soft brush and brush the head to stimulate oils.

usually with babies it's called cradle cap. Do you wash the baby's hair with a baby shampoo? If so, use an adult shampoo, being very careful not to get it in the baby's eyes. Also use a fine tooth comb to loosen it before shampooing.

It's called cradle cap. It's very common in babies, even if they're always clean. Call the pediatrician and they will give you medicine for it. It doesn't hurt the baby at all.
