My friend has been trying to hook me up with her son that I had never met for many months. I finally met him when he came home from Iraq this Christmas and we clicked. I had a boyfriend at the time, but we both felt the connection. I am now single and I have been talking on the phone and internet with this soldier for a while. I plan on visiting him at his base in Texas very soon. What can I do to make this weekend special? He has become a really great friend and we talk about everything. We are very sexually interested in each other and I plan on showing him my “thanks” for him serving our country. ANY ideas would help, I’ve got a few tricks up my sleeve, but I want to give him something really awesome to dream about.
To clarify: We are NOT dating and have not talked about being in any sort of relationship. He has gotten orders and will be moving within months to Italy.

With the answers I'm getting I guess I didn't make this clear enough: We DO NOT plan on turning this into a relationship. We do plan on being friends and still talking often, but for the time being this is purely two friends having sex.

I'm afraid that if you sleep with him, he'll get the wrong idea. If you sleep with him, he may think that you want a relationship with him, and it may affect him while he is in Italy. Don't make him think that you want him to wait for you; he will probably have lots of opportunity in Italy.
I have recently been talking to a guy in Iraq, and we have talked about a relationship, but I have continued to fool around with guys that I have met at work. I don't know if he wants us to be exclusive with each other, but I still feel kinda bad. I don't know what he is doing over there; he may have slept with every girl stationed where he is, but we are just starting to talk.
Your soldier will feel the same way if he is messing with girls in Italy while you are in the states, and he thinks you are waiting for him.
Just make it clear to him that you don't want a relationship other than "thanking" him.

if you want a good relationship with that guy sleeping with him is not the first step.take it easy girl you need enought time.
why not go out with him first and try to know him.
try to have picnic with him in a nice park,prepare dinner and cook for him,or watch movie together...something like that...you will never know what will happen next.

Take pics of yourself and give to him and send him lots of letters after he leaves. I think you should hook up with him and wait for him. That would be really special and would mean alot to him, trust me.

thanks for serving our country? ick... don't do it on my behalf... why must you sleep with him? a special weekend would be much more special if you two got to know each other... sleeping together will be a nail in the coffin of any potential for future relationship...
