I think simple little things would make your beach wedding beautiful! Try sand in canning jars along the aisle with candles in them...beautiful little touch with a romantic feel...your dress could be anything. Is this a formal or informal wedding? for a informal wedding you could wear like a white swimsuit with a beautiful white veil and white lace body cover that flows in the wind. For guys shorts in their tux's would be really sexy. Have a pic taken with them in sunglasses! You can rent lots of stuff for your wedding for fairly cheap and just decorate with shells and sand. At your guestbook table or where they put gifts you can put a pic of you two in it and decorate the frame with sand and shells!

A beach wedding will be very pretty..Congrats. Your dress should be very flowing (the breeze) He should probably where a shirt and khaki pants and of course neither of you should wear shoes. Do a search and look at pics from other beach wedding. I wouldn't recommend to many decorations. You will take away from the beauty of the scenery. I wouldn't do music either (my friends son got married on the beach and you couldn't hear the music at all). Hope this helps.

I got married in the Carribbean. I wore a dress that was sleeveless (you're still going to be hot) and he wore a nice linen suit. The women wore tropical dresses. I decorated lightly. It was under a gazebo at an old plantation on the beach. It was decorated with tropical flowers and was is it. It was really nice, beautiful, small and relaxing. Good luck!

ok this is what i did i bought a knee length white dress and went barefoot then i had my wedding dress that i changed into 4 the reception if u still want to wear a "traditional dress" my girls where in regular bridesmaid dresses but they where also calf length and barefoot. for the guys they had their tradtional tuxes but for the ceramony they bought cheap tuxedo pants some went to a thrift store some bought them at hot topic and just cut them to where they wanted. it was so much fun then the day b4 the wedding we all went and got pedicures including the guys i got married in santa cruz and we didnt use chairs because the ceremony itself only lasts a 1/2 tops we just got an alter thingy i forgot what they're called they look like and upside down U and that was it.

I got married on the beach in Jamaica. I wore a halter style dress; very light material because it's hot! My hubbie wore a cream colored suit with a solid tie. If you have bridesmaids, I had 2, and they wore light purple dresses, different styles, very simple. The guys wore light blue button down shirts, short sleeves, and khaki pants. The shades of blue/purple turned out gorgeous in the pics! I would suggest wearing your hair up because it gets hot quickly! I was sweating before I even met him at the aisle. Good luck and have fun!!!
Oh, and flip flops..me and the girls wore flip flops and tropical flowers in our hair.

Get married before or after rainy season, you don't need to get soaked on your wedding day. I don't know about suits for the guys, it is the beach after all. something light and comfy for the girls and for you. My suggestion is for you not to wear a veil, my friend had a beach wedding, and the veil had a mind of its own with the ocean breeze, it was flying all over the place, she had to take it off to get any decent wedding pictures.

Try Las Vegas instead. No sand fleas and lots of fun. Easy too.
