To the Father in heaven, but always in the name of His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ. Everything is in the Son's name.

I pray to the God and/or the Goddess, the gracious Lord and Lady of Life. Depending on the need I'm expressing in the prayer, I may also pray to Them in specific aspects -- Apollo for healing, Bast for compassion, Brigid for creativity, and so on.

As far as I'm concerned, all Gods and Goddesses are aspects of one God and Goddess, who in turn are aspects of an incomprehensible Source that human beings interpret in human terms (hence the sexual dimorphism in Wiccan practice). When other people pray to their God or Gods, I believe that their prayers go to the same place. But that's just me. :-)

I put my heart and soul into praying to GAMBLOR for one spin of the roulette wheel in Vegas to win other people money, and it came up....scared the hell out of me.

Since then I sometimes pray to THAT ONE and it apparently works for me when I really mean it.

I don't know. !
I pray when I have my car keys in hand.
I twirl them like a Hindu Prayer wheel.
I say "forgive them for they know not what they do".
and "remember all that have gone before".
Some times I joke and say "I sure could use the lotto now".
