I'm a above-average looking guy and have never been asked out by a girl. I have been asked to "go home" with a couple of girls, but that's not really my thing. What could I change to become more prone to be asked out? It would be nice not to be the aggressor ever once in a while.
* Im also 24, so could my age have something to do with it as well?

Theres nothing really you can do its all up to them. And if some girls have asked you to "go home" with them then you must be attractive. In all my experience with women (which isnt all that much) i have always asked them out. My current girlfriend told me that she was thinking of asking me out, but i beat her to the punch. We had been really good friends for a long time and have liked eachother more than just friends for almost as long. So yeah im sure girls actually do ask the guy out but i think you have to be really good friends with them first for them to be comfortable with it.

It could be that your looks might be a lil intimidating. Or you might come off as too shy. It does feel good to be asked out by a chick, but it really doesn't happen all that often. Try an older crowd, Older Women have no problems asking guys out(in my experience) That's unless you re not into older women. But hey if you are just change the crowd. Or just try to be an A$* hole, chicks say that don't like them but the As* holes get more chicks then the nice guys

Yes women ask guys out. I asked my boyfriend out and we have been together for 2 years now. U cant change anything about urself to be more prone to be asked out. Most girls dont like to ask the guy out they want u too ask them out. But there are some girls who will just go for it. Being 24 probably has nothing to do with it.

Ok, to get girls to ask u out try to be a little more poor in spirit and not so full of yourself by saying that ur "above-average looking", believe me that wont work on girls, i am a girl. Other whys it's good that u dont "go home" with the girls that ask u to, if girls dont ask u out, then u ask them out! Simple as that! and yes girls do ask out guys, that r their type!

Im a confident woman and been asked out allot but only asked a couple guys out. Doesn't make you desperate. If i like someone ill ask them if they would be interested to go on a date and explain there not going to get into my pants if they say yes. I asked my future husband out. I always saw him at his work place and we always talked so one day i decided to ask it took me a year to get my nerve up cuz i was scared of rejection. but now were getting married. Some women think it's the guys part to do the asking but i say life is to short to wait on a guy you just ask what do you have to lose? Regection hurts but you just move on lol. I always explained it was strictly a date and nothing more. and my guy thought it was totally cool i wasn't throwning myself at him. So i think your a good guy to like a girl who has self respect. Some girls pick the losers to be with that's why all the good guys never get asked. That or some girls are like me and have respect and confidence

Some women have the courage to ask a guy out. I really don't think there is anything you can do to be more prone to be asked out. Why don't you try asking them out?

no ur age has nothing to do with it. yes a lot of girls out and some guys like that. just wait and the right girl will come along.

Age has nothing to do with it. It's conversation and overall charisma.
I've been asked out, but usually it's after I've danced with them and sat down and just chatted for a while. They ask if they find me interesting enough.

Girls do ask guys out.... well brave one's atleast. Some girls are too shy to ask a guy out. And your age has nothing to do with it!

Don't worry about it. Girls like to feel wanted, so just ask them out.
