in a word, no. there is probably no way of doing it.

the text on the dvd will not be text anymore, but will have been merged as a part of the picture/video. to change it you would need to re-edit it and place a coloured rectangle over where the text appears and then place new text on top of the rectangle.

really, using effects on a camcorder to change the video is a bad idea because they can not be removed afterwards, you should create videos without any effects or text and if necessary add them using a package on a pc, keeping a 'clean' version backed up on dvd - this allows you to re-edit it if needed.

Yes, I think Roxio will let you edit as desired, but it's a lot of work to become familiar with the program. Be sure to work on a copy of the DVD so as to not destroy the original.

you need video editing software, it can be downloaded for free at download.com but beware some may have viruses, trojans, malware or spyware. You might also have to pay for the software to edit videos.

The most efficient and fastest way is to go to the nearest electronic store (staples, target, compusa, walmart, sams club, best buy,,,) and go buy video editing software. This will enable you to edit any video that you recorded onto a dvd, cd or your camera. also you can edit your home videos or vhs tapes.
