Just scroll to the breed of your choice.
Also, www.pets4you.com is a site that only reputable breeders post. If there are any complaints against the breeder, their listing is canceled.

Ashley a Poovanese is not a AKC registerable dog, you bought and paid money for a MUTT. 2 breeds of dogs that are not related together were allowed to mate and gave you a expensive mutt puppy. Also Roan is not a color recognized in dogs. Who ever told you roan? Thats really strange.
To the POSTER if you are looking for AKC puppies the best thing to do is look at adds in the papers, Petfinder.com, Dog Fancy Magazines, Craigs List.com., also calling your vet. Vets deal with many people who are showers and breeders of AKC registered PURBRED dogs. Also attending a AKC event such as a show, or obiediance trial or field trials will put you right next to breeders and owners. Do your research on the type of dog you want. There are hundreds and hundreds of breeds to choose from. There are also great great mutt dogs out there, just like Ashleys Poovanese.
Hybred dogs CAN NOT BE REGISTERED WITH AKC. Only with some other not so desirable Registry's.

If you were near the state of maine you could look here. I have 2 other breeders that I work with. We do the best we can to keep up and I will inspect any other breeders out there. We are looking into the North Carolina area maybe soon. Pups are only raised in our home with no cages. They sleep in our beds before they go home with there new owners. nextdaypets.com or petfinder.com You just have to be carefull buying online. Also, you could search out local ads in the paper and ask around on who in your area is a recommended breeder. I asked my local vet and a lady that runs a local pet gift shop-she shows dogs and gave me good tips on who was running puppy mills. Also when you go to buy always ask to see the living conditions of the parents and other dogs. She gave me good advise-if the breeder doesn't invite you in like you are part of the family to show you the pups do buy. They are hiding something. I am searching for a pomapoo (pomeranian and poodle) and may have found one. Check into designer hybrid breeds they are fun and you get the best of two breeds of dogs. Plus they can still be registerd. Also, if the breeder seems concerned about your ability to care for a puppy etc it is a good thing. It means they just aren't breeding for the money they actually care.

On petfinder.com. You can search by breed for a rescue or shelter in your area.
Please don't be discouraged if you don't find what you are looking for the first time you look. Find a good breed club rescue and tell them what you want. When a dog or pup becomes available - and there are always new dogs coming in to any rescue or shelter, they can let you know.
You can get AKC registered, pure bred dogs at shelters or rescues. Please don't buy from a breeder when dogs are dying in shelters. Save a life and adopt! =) I promise you will find what you want and it's not any harder than finding a good breeder.

You should really research the breeds before you adopt a puppy. Once you decide on a breed contact some responible breeders .Those who show are usually good ones to start with.

I have a poodle mixed with a havense and she is just the right size. She doesn't eat a lot and she is very playful. If you go to pet finder you could probably find one. She is called a poovanese. They come in the colors roan, black and white. If you go to pet finder they Have lots of choices.
