Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so eat healthy if you can- which means stay AWAY from pop tarts and that kind of junk.

Orange Juice
Healthy Cereal (try Kashi, very good and tastes great too, esspecially Kashi Go Lean Crunch!)
Oatmeal is pretty good, as long as its not too sugary/artificial.
Fruits are great in the morning!
Eggs
Toast if its whole wheat with natural jelly (watch out for artificial crap)
Yogurt

Try to get a good amount of protein, minerals and vitamins in!

There are a lot of healthy options that can get you started for the day. Make sure you avoid junky foods, though - my friend often just eats cookies or ice cream for breakfast...junk is just as bad as not eating at all!

Try eating a healthy cereal, maybe made with bran or soy, oatmeal with yogurt, just yogurt, fruit, toast, eggs, etc. Make sure you drink something as well - milk and juice are good choices.

Eat something to get your mind on the go!

According to a university dietitian whose lectures I used to attend the perfect diet for the day is

Breakfast : Fresh fruit or cereal with milk or porridge or dry toast
Mid day ; Pasta based meals or carbohydrate foods + fruit
Evening : Just about anything. plenty of fresh vegetables.

The theory is that your blood sugar levels need to rise to meet the rigours of the day and this type of diet does that.

No more that two cups of coffee a day. Drink water or fruit juice.

Oatmeal. They make the instant kind now. Just add water and nuke. Takes a couple of minutes to cook and a couple of minutes to eat. Your tummy is full until lunch and so you can concentrate on your lessons. Besides the flavord ones taste pretty good and oatmeal is (dare I say it....ok here goes) good for you!

Eggs, whole wheat toast, or English muffin fresh/canned fruit (packed in water), or toast/English muffin and low-fat/fat-free cottage cheese or yogurt. As long as you have a mix of carbs and protein you should have the energy you need.

Oatmeal stays with you all day, put in a scoop of vanilla icecream to cool down and some brown sugar, it is so yummy and my kids eat every bite, I serve with a toast and cup of milk.
