his parents deposit his checks, make phone calls for him, find maps and print them out when he needs to go somewhere. Basically they dont have a life at all and always revolve around him.

he's an only child. he's 22.

Is it normal that i feel so turned off by this?

yes and no... that doesn't sound so bad. I drive truck and call my parents all the time for directions (thye have the resource). The phone calls would worry me a little. Now if they deposited their money, then heck yea that would be the line for me.

yes it is sorta weird. but maybe what you need to do is tell your bf that you think it is time he gets out into the world with none of his parents help and needs. only the essentials. like money to get a place or something and to get it together cause you want a man who can provide for you later in life, instead of one using parents money!

I imagine what you're really feeling is threatened by their behavior. Will they make room for you? Will he make room for you in his life? Will his parents always come first? Will they try to keep him to themselves? Those feelings make a lot of sense to me, given the situation you describe.

Has he had other girlfriends? How did his past relationships end? That could give you a clue about the future of your relationship. Ask him.

That's not a turn off.. It's nothing wrong with that if he's in college pursuing a degree. If he was 30 that's a different story. I think you are just hatin'.

Yes it's normal to feel that way. And if you two ever get married you can be sure he will expect the same from you. Spoiled is all he is and all he will want.

Yes, it shows a lack of responsibility. If his parents do everything for him, who does he think will do it for him when he gets married and moves out? His wife.

So he's not a man, he's still a child. Not sexy. One day you'll have to take over and do for him as his parents do. Not sexy. He's a baby. Not sexy.
