a good friend of mine nearly broke up with her boyfriend last night i was talking to her on msn while it was happening cos she was really upset and everthing but in the end they sorted it out. i havent seen her today and im not sure whether to text her to find out how she is. i dont want to look nosy and kinda interfering cos theres a possibility she'll be with kenny [her bf] who i dont think likes me very much. helppp

I think it's perfectly acceptable to text her to see how she's doing. She's your good friend, that's what good friends do. If Kenny doesn't like the fact that you're texting her, he'll just have to get over it.

I think you should just wait until she contacts you or you hear something through someone else. You say you don't want to look nosy but more importantly you say her bf may not like you very much-- so just trust your intuition right now and dont text yet. (you sound like a good friend!)

I would text her and say something like I hope you're doing okay. Should you need to talk anytime you can contact me. That way, regardless you're leaving it open for her to respond and call, text back,etc. You're not being nosy I don't think doing that.

There's nothing wrong with you wondering how your friend is doing, and don't be influenced by Kenny's opinions about you. After all, you are her friend!
