Hey, does anyone out there know of any good places to hike in northern Jersey? I'm looking to become a more active hiker, but there's so much out there that I don't even know where to start. Moderate hikes are pretty much what I'm looking for, though easy and strenuous are welcome as well (just day hikes though). Thanks guys!

I would recommend the Delaware water gap, Ken Lockwood Gorge, and Pyramid Rock. My personal favorite is Pyramid rock, as there are tons of trails and lots of scenic lookout points, as well as some sweet bouldering if you're into that. Also, look into the Appalachian Trail! You can take day hikes along it and enjoy the scenery and chat with through hikers and lots of interesting characters.
