Sometime, I may go for months to a year, without seeing an amputee.

Plenty when I go to the VA hospitals. Lots also in S.E. Asis, and Africa because of land mines. Amputee men make better lovers - more blood for those important parts (wink!!!)

At least once a week if not more. I work in a grocery store and see lots of regularswho are missing a limb.

Pretty often - we live near an Army & VA hospital, so recovering soldiers are a common sight around here.

not often enough when i look in the mirror my legs are nothing but pain to me and are beyond repair im not allowed pain killers and have to accept the chair mostly so no disrespect but id love to be in your shoes so to speak lol

probably more often then you think.
With todays prostetics, several of the people with missing legs only appear to have a slight limp (especially now that it is winter)
