You can freeze almost anything; you just may not like it when it thaws. Sour cream is a case in point.
Sour cream breaks down and separates when frozen and thawed. You can stir it back together, but it won't have the texture you expect if you put a dollop on your baked potato or tortilla, or use it in a dressing or dip.

I wouldn't freeze it, I don't think the sour cream used in it would thaw well after being frozen. Use it up now yourself or share it with some friends, it does keep for a pretty long period of time in the fridge though.

I've never heard of anybody freezing it. I think in the thawing process it might get watery.

Sorry, you need to use it up. Serve it with carrots and celery for snacks. Sour cream lasts for a couple of weeks so it will be fine.

no it will be to watery when you un freeze and has a weird taste,,,, my sister tried it and almost killed us,,,lol
