My boss is single and I am single. I am really into him and he seems to be into me. What can I do to get him to ask me out, or should I make the first move

If you date your boss and it doesn't work out are you prepared to work some place else? While you're trying to find another job how are you bills going to be paid? Oh and let's not talk about how he's going to ruin your name in the office. Has anyone ever told you that you don't mix business with pleasure?

You should never take a dip in the company pool. PERIOD. There are so many people out there why would you want to risk ruining your work reputation by dating your boss? If it goes bad then every other boss after him will hear about it. That kind of stuff follows you whereever you go.

Go ahead and make the first move, but be aware: lots of companies have strict policies about dating in the office, especially between superiors and the people who work under them. Your boss might want to avoid even the appearance of abuse of power for legal reasons, so you'll have to be willing to talk honestly about those issues. Good luck, and I hope it works out for you!

You don't. It is never appropriate to date your boss. If you want to leave you job and then persue a relationship with him then that is what you should do. Dating you boss and even trying to can put you and him into a awkward cituation that may in the long run cost someone their job. Don't do it.

Be very friendly and talkative to him. I would not make the first move, it will make him think you are totally in love with him. If he was to happen to be one of those types of guys you feel really wants to be involved with you but is unable to say so, then yes I would make the first move.

I don't think you should date him at all as long as you like your job. Dating in the work place can work but what if it doesn't. How are you going to feel if something bad happens and you have to see him everyday and spend all that time together. Re-think this and make sure you are prepared to deal with things if they don't work out.

your stepping a line so be careful.

but make the first move.

"Any chance you would like to get lunch?"

its simple and nice and not over the top so if he isnt into you then its not a big deal!

GOOD LUCK!

Niko.

Now that's not a very good idea. Work and play don't mix.
