im 17, and alot of the people i know have boyfreinds, but i dont really want one. i went 2 a party on saturday and i snogged someone a bit but i hated it really and just did it to please the guy! he is a nice guy, but i didnt feel like doing that. i dont fancy girls either, but fancy male celebrities and used to fancy a teacher lol. is it normal to not really like the people and people are really pretending? or at least the girls are to their boyfriends. thanks

You are perfectly normal, don't stress. If you don't fancy anyone then that's how it is in your life at the moment. There are no rules to how you want to live your life; providing you don't hurt people live it how you want.

yea its not like someones going 2 come up 2 u tomorrow and say that theres something wrong with u just coz u dont fancy anyone, and dont act like u do just 2 fit in, it's not worth it
trust that your mates will know what your going through and tell @ least one of them it could make u feel a whole lot better knowing that someone else knows what your going through.
But at the end of the day dont worry about it you'll fancy some1 when u find the right guy there's not exactly a set time to start having feelings for other people.

There is nothing wrong with not fancying anyone it could just signify that you are not ready but you will be when the right person comes along and anyway your only 17 you are still young.

Hey, you're totally normal. I went through the same thing at your age. Lots of girls i knew were doing stuff just to please their boyfriends. You know what? None of those couples lasted. You will figure out your feelings in time and then really bond with someone instead of being fake.

it is normal to not fancey anyone, i myself went through the same wen i was around ur age! it is perfectly normal and at ur age u shouldnt worry bout it, concentate on ur education and getting a start in life and eventually realationships will follow, untill then just enjoy ur life and dont b influenced by friends! be urself n love life the way ur playing it! gud luck n take care

i am not one to fancy boys either and i am 100% straight. i am married but dont find hubby attractive. i have only ever seen one or two men that i have thought wow.... just in passing never seen them since.
