I have a guy that I really like from school's email adress, but he didn't give it to me. I saw it on a piece of paper he was handing to another guy in my class. I desperately want to add him, but it would be very awkward for him because he won't know how I got his email or why I added him in the first place! Advice please?

email the guy and let him know you saw him down the hall somewhere and are interested in getting to know him better. Guys tend to like surprises. Good luck.

This is where you should just send him an email telling him that you like him and that you want to get to know him better, and then ask his permission to add him to MSN. If he asks you where you got his email, tell him that you got it through a mutual friend and that you'd rather not say who it was....If he likes you back that answer should satisfy him. If he gets all defensive then he probably isn't that interested in you anyways. Guys generally like surprises, so you shouldn't have much of a problem!

Don't do it. You will look like a stalker and he will run so fast in the other direction it will only embarrass you. Ask him for his email address. If he gives it to you, then add him.
