What are the best oils or the most perferred oils for:

French Fries

Onion Rings

Chicken

Anything else!

Peanut oil. It has a much lower smoke point (it won't burn quickly) vs. other oils and doesn't permeate whatever you're frying with its flavor.

Peanut Oil is the preferred oil used in restaurants because of it's high smoking point and neutral flavor. Olive oil has too much flavor and is too expensive to use for deep frying.

Unequivocally Peanut Oil .
And the answer saying olive oil is wrong and won't work .

I like to use good old Mazola. I have tried canola oil, peanut oil, etc they all cost a lot more than Mazola but the food doesn't taste as good to me.

First you want Trans-fat FREE oil. So, best for all of these would be canolla oil.

Peanut oil is best, but if you are cooking for anyone that has nut allergies use soybean oil.
