Yes it is against the law. You will see and probably agree to the warning when you install the programme.

Yes. It is against the law. It is considered to be software piratcy. Penalties if caught can run into thousands of dollars in fines.

No, I will not tel you where to find a code breaker. I do not want my ID suspended for doing that.

First of all you people need to do some research if getting a full copyrighted software for free is a crime then places like bearshare and limewire would be shut down its only illegal if you try to make a financial gain plus all these sites that offer free cracks for software would also be shut down, as long as there is no financial gain most software companies dont care because thats more advertisment for them,,,but it is illegal to actually crack the software,,,the terms and agreements is an agreement between you and the software company and most places that gives it away doesnt use it then they are not bound by the agreements so they can give it away if they want.Thats right your not bound by T&A untill you install and use it.

Use caution on astalavista or the sites it links to as they may have spyware droppers/trojans. But those are the risks you take when doing such things. If you don't know how to prevent that, maybe you shouldn't attempt it.

This is a grey area. If you own to origional program and the disk is no longer usable, then it is legal. You MUST keep the origional damaged disk.
