I have a dog already. She is a beautiful Shar-Pei, black in color. Her name is Osa, which means bear. We've had her for 10 years now and love her!!

My family has always owned dogs. I believe we started with our wolve/shepperd mix named Bones when I was about 5 to protect our home from intruders. We lived in a real bad area and Bones was our protector. After that it just became something we were use to. Like having another family member around.

Dogs (or cats) can be great therapy animals when having a bad day. No matter what happened to them they will always love you.

I've always wanted a dog! I never had one growing up and then my parents got our golden retriever puppy when I was 17 and I ended up moving out a year later so it was never really my puppy and now I live in an apartment where we cant have dogs and I want one sooooo bad!!

I've always wanted a German Shepherd...but I live in a tiny crate of an apartment and I don't think GSD's are suited for my tiny apartment and not to mention long hours at the office.
One of these days tho! :o)

yes, i'd love a dog, though my cats won't tolerate one :( i'd go for a collie, german shepherd, irish wolfhound, st. bernard/pyrenean mountain dog type. big docile animals. can't be doing with wee yappy dog types or terriers. too nippy. matiffs, dobermanns & rottweilers also make good pets if properly trained. don't hold with this "devil-dog" nonsense. no such thing as bad dogs. only bad owners.
