Go to the website of the province in which he was born. Nova Scotia & Ontario now have online sites to order the birth certificates from, with a credit card. In fact, the province of Ontario has a 15 day turnaround time or you get your money back. :)

The link I gave has links to all the provinces on how to get a birth certificate

There is no website that will allow you to retrieve a copy, if it was that easy can you imagine the identity fraud. There are two ways to get a certified copy from Canada, actually three. 1) Any relatives in the area could go and get you a hard copy and mail it. 2) I'm assuming your in the US, have your uncle go to the nearest Canadian Consulate and make a request there for a copy (there will be a fee) 3) As many others have stated you can go through the government website and order one that way also. But your not going to get a copy today, if that was what you were looking to do.

I'm not quite sure what Canada house is but I currently live in Toronto, ON but was born in Surrey, BC. When I lost my birth certificate, I was able to go on to the Government of BC website and order it from there.

Check which city your uncle was born in and check out their website.

You can download a copy of a birth certificate replacement form from his province of birth and then send it in via mail along with any required info and probably a fee.

You can't get birth certificates from websites.

He will need to apply to his local Birth, Marriage & Death registration office in the town he was born.

There will be a fee to pay but he will at least have the document he needs
